HELEN LO PRESTI
Manager
Helen joined Aspen Corporate in 1999 having worked in both commercial and practice roles previously. She has a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, and was on the Vice Chancellor's List for studies Corporation Law. While with Aspen Corporate, Helen obtained her CPA through Deakin University, as well as a Diploma of Forensic Accounting through Monash University. These latter studies she completed whilst working part-time and raising a young family. She is currently working towards becoming a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and is a board member of their WA branch.
Helen enjoys the knotty complicated issues, finding the core of the problem, and helping her clients create a path towards resolution. She is a firm believer in empowering business owners through helping them to develop their financial literacy.
Over the years Helen has worked across many industries, with significant experience in construction, retail, manufacturing, property and professional services.
Helen is a committee member for CPA's Gender and Career Progression Committee and a Councillor for CPA WA Divisional Council. In 2021 Helen obtained an accreditation in Mental Health First Aid.
When she isn't working Helen enjoys creating meals for her family and friends as well as yoga and meditation. In her past she was actively involved with many sporting activities such as Body Building, Horse Riding and Long Distance Running.
